Bridges to STEM Careers (BSC) holds Tech Friday events about once a month, during the regular school year.

These events are designed to be a fun and exciting introduction into various tech-related topics.

Swarmathon

This Tech Friday introduced the Robotic Operating System (ROS) to students, giving them foundation knowledge of basic functionality. Current opportunities, college resources, and emerging technologies were discussed. This Tech Friday was led by Professor Nathanial Wiggins from San Jacinto College North.

This Tech Friday, on Charlieplexing using Arduino was lead by Daniel Velazco, one of our UHCL BSC Mentors. Students learned how to use Charlieplexing and Arduino to build and program a 4x5 LED array.
